STI’s management team has 18 years experience in travelers’ philanthropy and more than 30 years experience in the private sector of the travel and tourism industry. STI’s background and track record, however, is not strictly academic.

From online donation portals and gift cards to program and project development at a business or destination level, STI offers a variety of market-tested solutions.
By leveraging the power of the web to create custom online donation portals, STI reduces costs, provides great transparency, and speeds the distribution of funds to more than 500 high-impact grassroots projects in more than 60 countries around the world. STI Gift Cards, on the other hand, have become a visible and unique alternative to traditional rewards and recognition gifts/programs as well.
STI can also vet your existing giving programs and conduct necessary due diligence to ensure that any given project is credible and achieves the desired results. STI also works with DMOs, inbound partners, and international aid agencies to develop projects and management systems in the destinations they serve.
Protecting Your Investment
While an average of 90 percent of your contribution is allocated to the project portfolios that Sustainable Travel International offers, the balance of covers either our or our partner’s overhead or is reinvested into our mission driven activities. As a not-for-profit organization, there is no “profit” at the end of the year; it is all allocated toward our sustainability initiatives.
