Program Offerings
STI develops corporate philanthropy and voluntourism programs based on your specifications. This includes selecting appropriate methodologies, messaging and projects, and helping you with implementation.
We start by determining your interests and goals. We then identify potential non-profit partners. Specifically, STI connects you and your guests to more than 850 pre-screened grassroots charity projects around the world. Alternatively, we help you vet existing projects or establish your own projects or charitable foundation. Next we design the systems you need to administer and promote your program, integrate it into your office and field operations and or into your booking and sales systems, and measure its ongoing effectiveness.
Taking this approach enables you to help protect the destinations you serve and offers a visible and strong value-add to any customer considering traveling with your company.

Protecting Your Investment
STI allocates 85-90 percent of each contribution we receive to the projects we offer. We only support projects that have been reviewed internally or through other credible third party organizations. And your donation is put to work within 60 days, immediately benefitting the project at the local level.
How can we be so sure? We take the following steps to conduct due diligence on the organizations interested in collaborating with us on a project, to help ensure credibility:
- We strive to be as approachable as possible to all qualified organizations interested in submitting a project for consideration.
- Because we cannot work with every organization, we give priority to organizations that come to us through a business partner or are referred by a trusted partner or colleague (e.g., donors, project sponsor organizations, other project leaders).
- We typically use a standard called “equivalency determination” to be sure that non-US based organizations operate equivalently to a US 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
- We ensure that funds are used as intended through a three tiered system of formal audits, third party reporting, and self-reporting.
- We also offer a guarantee. If a donor is not satisfied with the level of reporting, we allow them to re-allocate their funds to different project.
