All of the courses award Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which are a nationally-recognized unit of measurement for post-secondary education, professional development, and career training. The courses and CEUs that a student completes are maintained in a permanent database, and transcripts of completed course work are available to students as documentation of their educational achievements. See the " transcripts " section of this site for more information. CEUs are given only after satisfactory completion of the required work.

As far as auditing goes, a limited number of seats are available without cost in the elective courses for auditing by anyone who holds a Certificate in the Events Management Program and is a training professional in the Event Management industry. Other students requesting to audit a course will incur a fee, which varies by course.

Graduation
Students completing all requirements should apply for graduation using the Graduation Application Form. All financial obligations to George Washington University must be met. Certificates are sent by mail at the end of each semester upon successful completion of all requirements.
