Where: Hood River, Oregon. The event will be held at the Mark O. Hatfield trailhead in Hood River, and the 5 and 10K runs will be held along the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail.
Who: Bonneville Environmental Foundation and Sustainable Travel International (STI) are co-hosting the 1st Annual Green Gorge Gathering and 5K and 10K Runs on Saturday, August 12, 2006.
Why: The Green Gorge Gathering is about having fun and celebrating our community and the environment. It is also focused on promoting community development while raising awareness of sustainability initiatives in the Pacific Northwest.
